AI Use & Content Assurance

Effective date: 11 September 2026

← All Policies

Educator Systems may use artificial intelligence tools as part of its research, drafting, development, coding, editing, design or quality-assurance workflow.

ES does not treat AI output as an authoritative source simply because it was generated by an AI system.

How AI may be used

AI tools may assist with research organisation, drafting, editing, summarising source material, product structure, technical development and coding, testing ideas, identifying inconsistencies, formatting and quality review.

Human responsibility

Responsibility for an ES product remains with Educator Systems. AI involvement does not transfer responsibility for accuracy, appropriateness or product decisions to an AI provider.

Material generated with AI assistance should be reviewed to a level appropriate to its purpose before publication.

Evidence verification

Where factual claims require authoritative support, ES should rely on appropriate underlying sources rather than treating an AI response itself as evidence.

Confidential information

Identifiable confidential student information obtained through separate professional employment must not be intentionally entered into public consumer AI systems for the purpose of developing ES commercial products.

AI limitations

AI systems can produce incorrect information, invent references, misinterpret evidence, oversimplify complex issues, and produce technically functional but poor-quality outputs. For that reason, AI-generated material is treated as working material requiring judgement rather than automatic publication-ready content.

Coding and interactive tools

AI may assist with software or HTML development. Interactive products remain subject to ES testing and quality processes regardless of how the underlying code was produced.

Transparency

ES does not represent a product as having been independently written, reviewed or endorsed by a particular professional body merely because an AI system assisted with its development.

AI is a development tool. Accountability for the final ES product remains with ES.
