Educator Systems invests significant time in developing original educational resources, systems and tools.
Unless otherwise identified, original ES content is owned by Educator Systems and protected by applicable intellectual property law. This may include written resources, PDFs, interactive HTML tools, templates, frameworks and systems, original graphics and layouts, product names and branding, website content and downloadable resources.
Buying an ES product purchases permission to use it according to the applicable licence. It does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying product.
Customers may only share resources within the scope of the licence purchased. For example, an individual or classroom licence must not be treated as an unlimited school or organisation licence.
Where a resource is intentionally designed to be completed or customised, users may make those changes for permitted use. Modification does not transfer ownership of the underlying ES resource.
Unless permitted by law or authorised in writing by ES, ES products must not be resold; uploaded to public resource libraries; shared through unrestricted cloud folders; published online; distributed outside the purchased licence; incorporated substantially into another commercial product; or presented as another person's original commercial work.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict rights that users or educational institutions may have under Australian copyright law, including applicable statutory licences or exceptions.
Where ES uses third-party material under licence, permission, attribution requirements or another lawful basis, ownership remains with the relevant rights holder. Nothing in an ES licence gives customers additional rights over third-party material beyond those available under applicable law or the relevant licence.
Questions about permitted use, licensing or suspected unauthorised distribution can be directed to [email protected].
