Digital Product & Technical Support

Effective date: 11 September 2026

← All Policies

ES provides digital products in formats that may include PDF, HTML, spreadsheet, document and other digital files.

Supported use

Technical requirements may differ between products. Where a product has specific requirements, ES will aim to identify them on the product page or within the product documentation.

Interactive HTML products

Some ES products operate as local HTML files through a web browser. Unless specifically stated otherwise, these products should not be assumed to store information in the cloud, synchronise across devices, integrate with school information systems, automatically back up information, provide multi-user access, or operate as permanent student-record systems.

Customers should read the individual product instructions.

Browser and device compatibility

ES aims to support commonly used modern browsers and devices appropriate to the product. ES cannot guarantee compatibility with every browser version, device, operating system, school network, security configuration, content filter, managed-device environment or third-party application.

School-managed technology

Schools and organisations may restrict files, scripts, downloads or browser functionality. ES cannot override organisational IT restrictions. Customers should consult their organisation's IT support where local security settings prevent otherwise functional files from operating.

Technical problems

If an ES product does not operate substantially as described, contact ES with the product name, device type, operating system if known, browser or software being used, description of the problem, and screenshots where useful. ES will make reasonable efforts to identify the issue.

Updates

ES may issue corrections or compatibility updates. An update to an existing product does not necessarily mean every future redesigned or expanded edition will be supplied without additional charge.

Backups

Customers should retain appropriate backups of downloaded products and any information they create using them. ES should not be treated as the permanent storage location for customer-created educational records.

Consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
